Delhi-Mumbai Expressway: India has made great achievements in the field of transport. A part of the country’s ambitious project Delhi-Mumbai Expressway has been completed. Prime Minister on 12 February Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) will inaugurate the first phase of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The first phase of the expressway will connect Sohna in Haryana to Dausa in Rajasthan. The foundation stone of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway was laid by Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in March 2019.

Country’s largest expressway
The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway with a length of 1386 km is the longest expressway in the country. This is an example of unique engineering. It is an amazing combination of speed and technology. The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will connect the country’s capital Delhi with the country’s financial capital Mumbai. After the construction of this expressway, the distance from Delhi to Mumbai will be reduced from 24 to 12 hours. Built at a cost of about one lakh crore, this expressway will pass through 6 states. Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra.

The expressway will not only make traveling to six states very easy, but will also work to give a boost to the country’s economy. It is also being claimed that this expressway will not only take the passengers to their destination, but can also ease the way for the Modi government to reach power again in 2024.

Why is Delhi-Mumbai Expressway special?
The most important thing about the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is that it has been built with German technology. This eight-lane expressway is being built keeping in mind the traffic and needs of the coming 50 years. If needed in the coming time, it can be increased to 12 lanes. Trains can travel at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. With the commencement of this expressway, the consumption of 32 crore liters of fuel will be reduced annually. The environment will be benefited as much as planting four crore trees. More than 20 lakh trees will be planted along the expressway.

Safety, technology and convenience with speed
Due to the presence of CCTV cameras at every kilometer on the expressway, it is also considered special from the point of view of security. If you exceed the speed of the vehicle here by 120 km per hour, then the challan will be deducted automatically. Toll on this expressway will also be taken with Fastag technology, that is, money will be deducted from your account according to where you will start the journey and where you will end the journey.

With this, you will also get relief from the jam on the toll plaza. You will not be able to park anywhere on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. You will be able to park the car only in the rest area on the side of this expressway. Many facilities like restaurant, hotel, trauma center, electric vehicle charging station will be ensured in the rest area.
